Nyckelharpa Courses at Halsway Manor 2023

It’s been the most incredible year and now I’m home for a couple of days I can start to do adverts for next year! We have three courses again and I’m excited about all of them! Bookings are now open for all of them, so get yourself booked on!

Nyckelharpa Retreat Week: Monday 30th January – Friday 3rd February 2023
Join Vicki for five days of nyckelharpa playing. Workshops will include mostly Swedish music, ensemble playing and some optional technique sessions.  This course will run alongside Jonny’s Scandinavian Accordion week and we will come together in the evenings.

Spring Weekend: 24th – 26th March 2023 for Beginners and Improvers
We have the Spring weekend where I teach total beginners with instruments that I provide. I also have a second level for people that can already play. I am excited to be able to announce David Chadwick will be joining me to teach on this course! We’ll be sharing with the Swedish säckpipa course and the wonderful Olle Gällmo – do not miss this weekend!

Festival Weekend: Friday 15 Sep 4pm — Sunday 17 Sep 4pm, 2023
Tutors are still to be announced, but it’s going to be good!
